This is the real wager in trading forex. You are wagering that you are wrong or right, you are literally risking your money based on the belief that price will reach your take profit before reaching your stop loss.
With forex being a mean reversion market, with enough time given price will hit both the take profit and stop loss.
We only need an edge to be able to decide which one will be hit first.
